Beska- Introductions...

As our first blog post, I thought I would make it introductory, short and sweet. After all the first blog post always seems most difficult to write.
This blog will be entirely dedicated to our blossoming couture label and little bridal salon- Beska. Mostly I expect to be writing about gowns we are making, posting images of gowns we have made and expressing our love of all things pretty.
Here is a little about me and my business.

"With a background in Fashion Design and a Bachelor degree attained from Design College- Raffles in North Sydney, it became clear to young designer Rebecca Childs early in her study that her desired direction would be bridal couture. Rebecca’s passion for luxurious fabrics, embellishments and all things pretty, shines through her work and her whimsical creations. In the years after her graduation she perfected her skills working at a prestige Bridal Salon in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. After this, the dream began and Rebecca launched her own bridal Couture label, ‘Beska’.

The beautiful bridal gowns at Beska are nothing but vintage inspired delicacies and exquisite works of art. Made in the finest of silks complementing palettes of gentle ivories, platinum and rose tones. Each gown is skilfully decorated with layers, frills, French laces, silk flowers and Swarovski adornments. Each gown is personally handmade with love and is as unique as every beautiful bride.
Choose from the couture collection available in-store or design your very own gown building inspiration from original Beska designs. Each gown is cleverly constructed using modern couture techniques and reflects modern silhouettes flattering every kind of body shape. The couture process involves 3 in-house fittings to ensure your wedding gown fits perfectly to all contours of your body.
When designing your gown Rebecca likes to take into consideration all your plans and themes for the wedding, and most importantly establish the image you want to create. At Beska the focus is not on the tradition and its limitations, they instead challenge those boundaries and strive to create that dream gown that is timeless and uniquely yours. The ultimate aim at Beska is to ensure the gown you leave the store with truly reflects your individual character and flair."
